So Sophia, tell us about your concept…
I design and produce handmade jewelry in silver, mostly using the traditional metal casting technique in a mold called lost wax. The main idea of my collection is simplicity and elegance. My jewelry caters to women of all ages. I’ve even seen my jewelry being worn by a mother, daughter and granddaughter… all together!
What is the inspiration behind your work? Who are some people/ what are some projects that have inspired you?
My inspiration is the harmonious geometry of nature, graphic design, modern architecture and Ancient Greece.
Whats your experience of the Meet Market?

Where do you realistically see yourself in 5 years? If you didn’t have to be realistic, where would you dream to see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself and I dream to be somewhere where I can do what I love… being creative!
Whats the one tool in your workshop that you cant live without?
I really enjoy experimenting with materials that have different behaviors – even if it means double the time to do the research and application… but I could not possibly live without my jewelry’s most predominant material… silver.
Whats the strangest job you have every had?
The job wasn’t strange, but I worked in a magazine that had a strange name – “The World of Glass”
