EleniPal Ceramics

Rating 5.0

1 Reviews
EleniPal Ceramics is a small ceramics studio based in Zografou (G. Zografou 76). All pieces are 100% handmade by me, combining functionality with minimal and modern aesthetics.

My name is Eleni Palaiologou. Before discovering ceramics I studied physics in the University of Athens. Now I am a full time ceramic artist and I spend most of my time creating old and new designs.

It all began a few years ago when I took my first pottery class as a hobby and fell in love with it. I then studied ceramics for two years at a public technical school and worked at a ceramic studio for almost a year before opening my own.

All of my pieces, both functional and decorative, are 100% handmade by me.
I combine various techniques such as wheel-throwing, coil-building and slab-building. I fire all of my ceramics up to 1240°C to make sure they are as strong as possible.
I like creating functional ceramic objects, mostly kitchenware, with minimal aesthetics, that can be used for everyday routines but also for more special occasions.

Since all my products are handmade, each piece is unique and there might be slight differences between each one. Handmade ceramics might also have small imperfections and markings from the making process which enhance their a unique character and beauty and emphasize the difference between hand made and industrialfactory made products.

When I see that a package is at your post office awaiting for pick-up or redelivery, I usually notify you through Etsy messages and email, so please keep checking your email to make sure that you will not miss a notice.

Buyers are responsible for any customs fees, duty fees, VATs and/or import taxes that may apply in their country to receive their order. Every country has different rules and thresholds for import. If you have concerns about this you must consult the regulations in your country prior to your purchase. Such fees are never included in the purchase price, and are entirely the responsibility of the buyer. I will not reimburse for the payment of any customs fees, duties, VATs, and/or import taxes. Shipments within the EU are not subject to custom fees. As far as I know buyers in the US very rarely have to pay custom fees as the threshold for imports is quite high (around 800$).
