My name is Lila, I'm the mother of two school aged boys and as of lately I've become the "mother" of Mosaic beadwork. It all started one evening while at a parents meeting at our school. That's where I met Evgenia. We started talking about our jobs (at the time we were both in the private sector) and one thing led to another and we discovered our mutual love for creativity, handmanship and all things unique. I enjoyed fine knitting and she made jewels from miyuki beads. A strong friendship developed and with love and support from each other, I left my job and my small business was born.
Mosaic beadwork for us is so much more than just a business. It represents friendship, partnership, hard work and love for all things different in all forms of art.

All of our Jewellery at Mosaic beadwork are handmade by hand, bead by bead, with authentic Miyuki Delica beads which we import directly from France from the original Miyuki Co. European importer. Miyuki beads are high quality glass beads that have been awarded for their ideal size, shape and colour combinations. The time it takes to create a jewel ranges from one hour and can sometimes take eight to ten hours of knitting for more complex larger items. So when someone purchases one of our pieces they are in fact getting a small piece of art created with lots of love. The metallic parts of our jewellery are mostly 24k gold plated, 925 silver plated as well as stainless steel. All pieces can be custom made in any colour and size combination of your liking.
