The Albayr Woodshop is a small woodworking studio based in Vrilissia, creating unique functional and decorative wood art pieces. Everything you see here is 100% handmade by me, Paul McDermott.
My love of woodworking and all things creative can be traced back to my childhood, when I would help my grandfather to make things in his shed. After leaving school I studied carpentry and joinery at Ayr College, Scotland before moving to Greece and creating The Albayr Woodshop.
I hope you will find a piece of art that you love but I am also open to all types of commissions, so please don't hesitate to get in touch, and I can bring your vision to life!

All of my products are 100% handmade by me, without the use of cnc or lasers. Each product is made entirely of various types of wood (you can find exactly what type of wood is used in each items product description).
I specialise in scroll saw work, using a very fine blade to cut the unique elements of each piece, whether it be letters or organic shapes for wood art.
