13:00-14:30| Are We Playing Cinema?
So what we need for our game? Scenery, characters, camera, microphone, headphones, clapping…or maybe just a book, an idea, a crazy story, a fantastic scenario in a surreal, dreamlike place? Let’s build our own pre-film visual games, decide our own setting, make our own characters, draw our favorite frame, create our own photo story, make our own storyboard and experiment with a variety of cinematic narrative modes. Let’s become the critical viewers, the little cinephiles and the creators of today and tomorrow. Let’s play Cinema!
15:00-18:00
With colorful brushes and magic dust, Moutzoures will be face-painting up a strom at the Sunday Meet Market for kids & families.
15:30-18:00| “The Little Circus”
Ground acrobatics, physical theater, dance, juggling and balancing games give children the opportunity to get to know their body, coordinate their movements and sharpen their mind & concentration in a fun and creative way! The workshop is led by three enthusiastic young women, Angeliki Merediti, Antonia Sotiropoulou and Nefeli Sotiropoulou, with a lot of work experience in their subjects. They have been champions in acrobatic gymnastics, artists in circus-theatre groups, and trainers who have spent many years working with young people and children. Above all, they have a great appetite, respect and love for their subject. Corins, balls, hoops, rolla bolla, hula hoops, somersaults and real “human pyramids” will be waiting to welcome you to the world of the circus!
16:00-19:00
What happens when mountain and rivers, climbers, children’s theater, physical education teachers, artists, outdoor educators and scouts meet up all together at the Meet Market? The fun begins! Join us for outdoor recreational & educational activities from mega jenga, slack line, cage climbing and rock climbing for kids that harmoniously combine fun play with experiential learning!
17:00-18:00
Panagiotis Argyrakis of Fundastick Performing Arts will entertain visitors of all ages with his incredible juggling skills and fill the Meet Market with huge soap bubbles!
17:00-19:00 | “Capturing Emotions”
Starting with two of the most basic components of nature – soil and water – of which clay is composed, children are invited to express their feelings in a different way. Through an experiential game of observation, they will try to “recognize” their feelings and then capture them on a face made of clay. The children will come into contact with this material and with basic clay techniques by making their own project. Our goal is entertainment and free expression, as well as getting to know the art of clay, through an experiential and fun workshop!
18:00-19:00
Circle dances are collective dances that aim to integrate all the members of the group and reinforce values such as empathy, understanding and a sense of belonging. In this type of dance, people – of all ages – are arranged in circles and choreographed together. Each participant puts their intention and energy into the circle, showing their best traits in the pursuit of unity.
