Description
♥Listing details:
-two terracotta candlestick holders, one shorter, one taller
-exclusively built by hand, so no two are exactly the same and have an organic imperfect style
-NOTE the inside diameter of the candle holder may not be perfectly even, nor perfectly straight, so you may need to adjust your candles to fit and sit straight
-due to the handmade process you can expect actual candle holders to differ slightly from those pictured
-created with terracotta clay, color glazes
-hand glazed and fired twice in our electric pottery kiln reaching 1020°C
-please REMEMBER to never leave burning candles unattended
-all my work is hand signed "RM"
Details
♥Dimensions are irregular since no mold is used, therefore stated measurements are an approximate:
-internal diameter for candlestick: 2-2.5cm/0.8-1"
-candle holder height:
shorter: 7.5-9cm/2.9-3.5"
taller: 10.5-11.5cm/4.1-4.5"
Tips
I use good quality clay, both earthenware and stoneware, and fire my ceramics at the highest temperatures to make sure they are as strong as possible. However handmade ceramic items are fragile by nature so please handle them with care.
Food safe.
Lead and cadmium free.
Dishwasher safe (hand washing preferred, cautious may be slippery).
Not suitable for baking or heating.
Avoid thermal shock: never place a hot ceramic item on a cold surface or vice versa.
