Out of a personal interest in what we eat, we started making food for ourselves that was beyond organic: local, fresh, without artificial additives, with the least possible processing and without plastic packaging. The news spread to friends in an "organic" way and thus "Apo Stoma Se Stoma" (meaning word of mouth in greek), the food brand of Astiki Melissa was born.
Astiki Melissa brings nature back to the city with pure, high-quality hive products, nut butters and natural cosmetics. We also produce the first Greek urban honey from the neighborhoods of Athens!

How our nut butters stand out:
1) We always fanor nuts produced in Greece.
2) We buy nuts directly from producers we know and trust.
3) If available, we prefer certified organic nuts. If not, the highest quality ones.
4) We do not use additives. Most of our nut butters contain 100% a single nut, unless it is a unique recipe.
5) We aim for their production date to be as close as possible to the consumption date. This means that we produce small batches for exhibitions and on demand for orders.
Urban honey is the first of its kind in Greece! It is a polyfloral flower honey with a rich texture and an intensely fruity flavor, with aromas of bitter orange, acacia and eucalyptus blossoms. It is a unique tasting experience for honey lovers. It is ultra local, since it is packaged per production neighborhood and the most sustainable honey you can get, since it is produced, distributed and consumed within Athens!
Of our remaining beekeeping products, most are our own production and some from partnering producers with whom we share common values:

3) Certified organic production
