General Information

"My Storefront" is your own curatable window to the world on our Meet Marketplace platform.  Just like in a physical shop window, your virtual storefront is a place to express your brand's philosophy and aesthetics in a way that distinguishes you from all the others.  We've prepared different modules for you to use and organize as you wish to create your own layout.  Tell us about your story, clarify your shop policies, display your products and group them according to common themes, promote your favorite makers from our community, and highlight your brand's unique personality through complimentary photos, videos and quotes. 

You can access your Storefront through the menu on the right hand side of your My Shop maker profile.  Select "View Storefront" to see how it appears to our visitors, and "Edit Storefront" to get started or make changes whenever you want.

All you need to start creating your Storefront is creativity & inspiration.  You'll also need to have some product listings ready and some complimentary photos at hand that highlight your products or aesthetics. Think about how you would like to tell your story and the philosophy behind your creations through images, words and videos that best match your brand's vibe.

All sections of your Storefront have the possibility of being translated into Greek and English for better understanding & accessibility by all visitors. We highly recommend that you complete your Storefront in both languages.  For those of you who do not feel very confident with your language skills, you can copy/paste your native texts into Google Translate.  Give it a try!  If you do not wish to translate your Storefront information, then it will only appear in the initial language you chose, and to visitors who are shopping in that language.

The Storefront is not a mandatory step to be able to sell your products, but it is extremely useful and beneficial for every maker. And that's exactly why we designed a curatable page dedicated to you, where in addition to your unique products you will be able to express your brand's philosophy and aesthetics. Take advantage of it and experiment with it!

Just like a physical storefront, you can manage your virtual storefront however and whenever you want. Having said that, there are three elements we advise you to keep constant: your logo, your brand name and your motto (if you have one).

Each section or module of the Storefront is defined in a light-grey box.  There are 3 buttons on the upper right hand side of each section which give you the following options:

With the pencil Edit icon, you can enter, change, correct, add or remove information such as product listings, text, photos and video links.

With the 4-arrows Move Icon, you can move each section to a a different part of the page, organizing the flow of your Storefront as you wish.  Click the 4-arrows icon and drag the section up or down to its desired location.
*This feature does not apply to the "Meet your Maker" section which is always displayed first in order.

With the eye icon, you can make a section invisible, in the case you do not want to feature it.  You can make visible any time you want by clicking again on the eye icon. For maximum impact, we recommend you keep all sections visible, but it's totally up to you of course!
