Description
St. John's wort (Hypericum perforatum L.) is an herb with a long history in herbal medicine, used to treat a wide range of ailments.
The herb’s flowering tops are used to make hypericum infused oil, with its characteristic bright red color, which is made by soaking the flowers in oil and leaving them in the sun for a few weeks.

MALVA’s hypericum oil is produced in our laboratory, from wild herbs that we collect from Peloponnese. We use ecologically cultivated extra virgin olive oil. It has a "lively" red colour and is suitable for both internal and external use. It is available in 100ml glass bottles but also as a component of our basic beeswax salve.

Tips
Indicative ways of use:
🌿 Externally:
Wounds, rashes, burns, ulcers, inflammation, swelling, itching: apply to the affected area.
Muscle pain, rheumatism, neuralgia, sciatica: application and gentle massage of the affected area.
🌿 Internally:
Gastroesophageal inflammations, stomach ulcers, heartburn: drink 1 tablespoon on an empty stomach (preferably in the evening) and whenever a problem occurs.
Sore throat: gargle with 1 tablespoon of hypericum oil.
