Description
Lavender is a widely used herb! Its name comes from the Latin word “lavare” which means "to wash" and it is better known for its sweet fragrance associated with cleanliness, than for its therapeutic properties!
Lavender essential oil is produced from the flowers of the plant by distillation. It is one of the most well-known essential oils and certainly one of the most useful! It is much gentler in action than most other essential oils and can be safely applied undiluted, directly to the skin!

Combines well with the following essential oils: basil, geranium, jasmine, citrus, eucalyptus, cedar, clary sage.

Indicative ways of use:
Headache – migraine: rub 1-2 drops of undiluted lavender essential oil on your neck, temples and forehead.
Relief from burns, insect bites and skin irritations: apply 1-2 drops undiluted to the area
Anxiety, stress: add 5-10 drops into your air freshener
Relaxation: add 6-10 drops of essential oil in your bathtub
Insomnias, for calm and restful sleep: put 2 drops of essential oil on the edge of your pillow
After sun care: add 30 drops of essential oil to 50ml of calendula oil
For severe stress: inhale directly from the bottle
