Hi! I am Ioanna ✺ To me, NOXPIRIA is the fruit of an inner seed.

It is about materializing ideas into transformative devices. Building a bridge between the eternal now and the absolute unknown, in an attempt to reach our inner depths through adorning our surface.

With a background in Architecture Studies, silvercraft was the medium for me to reach inner unexplored realms, teach myself in depth and manifest release.

As I'm growing, so does NOXPIRIA. And I have come to terms with an inherent urge to blend with forms created by water force, forms who seem to emerge through my hands as well.

Collaborations with fellow designers and artists are also crucial in my ethics and i find myself wholeheartedly open in this community, so we can share and grow together lovingly.
Handcrafted in Athens from start to finish, all NOXPIRIA pieces are made with .925 silver, featuring often my most distinctive material, the Abalone Seashell, a product of certified ethical cultivation processes, from NZ.

A large quantity of my work derives from recycled metals during casting, while all shipping packaging is recyclable, made from 100% recycled Ocean Bound Plastic pollution. In the cases where bubble wrapping is needed, all bubble wrapping material is reused.

Mokuna takes its name from Hawaiian folk tales, where it is presented as the evil mo'o, a water spirit.
Mo'o's are believed to have developed from gecko lizards to human women and then to sea goddesses. They can live in both salt and fresh waters, found in hawaiian lagoons, ponds, rivers, and mostly in the ocean. There is a Hawaiian expression that inside each woman lives a little Mo'o.
