Workshop for kids & adults with Yianni Prassa: If you look up at the Christmas Meet Market in Amaxostasio, you’ll notice its filled with handmade dream-catchers.  Each and every one of them was made by hand by Yiannis Prassa with a technique he learned from his travels in Laos.   Come learn the art of making dream-catchers together with with the man himself.  We will provide you with all the materials for you to weave one on the spot and take it home with you… no previous experience necessary!  For ages 10+.

Come get your creative juices flowing by painting on ceramics cups, which have already been fired once.  Afterwards, your cup will be glazed and re-fired, and you can come collect it the following weekend from The Meet Market.  For ages 6 -12 years old.

Kids become carpenters! Each child will be able to create on their own wooden work bench, which have been specially designed for children, and use tools and equipment to create their own wooden toy – which they can take home with them afterwards.  For ages 7+

Scenery, characters, camera, microphone, headphones, clapping…or maybe just a book, an idea, a crazy story, a fantastic scenario in a surreal, dreamlike place? Let’s build our own pre-film visual games, decide our own setting, make our own characters, draw our favorite frame, create our own photo story, make our own storyboard and experiment with a variety of cinematic narrative modes. Let’s become the critical viewers, the little cinephiles and the creators of today and tomorrow. Let’s play Cinema!

Imaginary Rooms - Doodles from the Elves! Do elves exist? Do you know what they look like? Are we elves too and didn’t know it until now? Whether we are or not, it’s time to have some fun drawing, inspired by all the pranks we’ve done so far and create ideas for future ones! There is no shame in having a bit of fun! Come in high spirits for frenzied painting, beautiful mistakes and good times! Always tooling our markers and the Art of Doodles, illustrating in our unique personal style! A lightning-fast painting journey that requires no talented or previous experience… just  kids ready to let their imaginations and sense of humor take off! Imaginary Rooms is a creative studio founded by graphic artist / character designer Nadia Stassinou, and architect / street artist Manolis Iliopoulos. Their goal is to impart “Inspiration to the Modern Family” through Workshops, Illustrations and Murals.
